Aquatint, published by Sherwood Jones & Co, 1824, then as plate 18 in The English Spy in 1825.
This is an imaginary scene featuring the Duke of York, Princess Augusta and HM King George IV. Near the doorway, using crutches, is the Earl of Arran, who suffered from gout. The Princess Augusta Sophia (1768-1840) was the sixth child and second daughter of George III and Queen Charlotte. For such a small engraved image, this portrait is a good likeness of the Princess.
