The development of the entrance gates to the Chain Pier, and the simple fence around the tollbooth in the mid 1830s suggests the likely publication date. No artists or lithographers are mentioned. A very rare print.
This is one of a set of three lithographs which are probably French in origin – one of the three is of the ‘Pavillion’, with the double ‘ll’ spelling (BPC00297). The third in the set is ‘Grand Entrance, Pavillion’ (BPC00293).
