This view shows the main entrance to the Pavilion building itself, which we still use today, on the west side. The scene is similar to Images of Brighton 550, the smaller steel engraving by Rock & Co. The title is spelt with a double ‘ll’.
This is one of a set of three lithographs which are probably French in origin – one of the three is of the ‘New Grand Entrance’, (BPC00293). The third in the set is ‘Chain Pier’ (BPC00101).
